ORDER

By judgement dated 10.11.2014 passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate (Fast Track Court), Hosur, in S.T.C.No.82 of 2014, the petitioner was convicted for the offence under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act and was sentenced to undergo simple imprisonment for six months and to pay compensation of Rs.15,00,000/-. Challenging the said conviction and sentence, the petitioner has preferred an appeal in Crl.A.No.11 of 2015 before the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Hosur. Vide judgment dated 16.11.2015, the Appellate Court dismissed the Appeal and confirmed the judgment of the trial Court. Aggrieved over the same, the petitioner has filed the present Criminal Revision Case.

2.Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel appearing for both sides have submitted that the matter has been settled between the parties. They have also made endorsement to that effect in the petition.

3.Recording the aforesaid submission and the endorsement made by the learned counsel on either side, this criminal revision stands allowed by setting aside the judgment of conviction and sentence passed by the Courts below. The petitioner is acquitted from the charge levelled against him. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petitions are closed.
