By consent of both the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners as well as respondents, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.
2. The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to consider his application dated 01.12.2022 seeking issue of joint patta in the name of all the petitioners.

3. According to the petitioners, the subject property was originally assigned in favour of the 2nd to 4th petitioners' grandmother-Pappal W/o.Raman. The Assignee died on 19.12.2008. The Assignee's only sonPerumal pre-deceased her on 29.12.1996. Therefore, the petitioners claim right over the subject property as legal representatives of the said Pappal. The 1st petitioner submitted an application before the 2nd respondent dated 01.12.2022 seeking mutation of revenue records in the name of the petitioners and the same has not been considered by the 2nd respondent till date. Hence, the petitioners are before this Court.
4. Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader, who is taking notice for the respondents would submit the application of the petitioner dated 01.12.2022 will be considered by the 2nd respondent on its own merit and in accordance with law, within the time fixed by this Court.
5. In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioners, this Court is inclined to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 01.12.2022 and pass final orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six 3/6
weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
