ORDER

This Writ petition has been filed challenging the impugned suspension order dated 18.04.2022 issued by the first respondent.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Mr.S. Yashwanth, learned Additional Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent of both the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. It is now brought to the notice of this Court by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents that pursuant to the impugned charge memo, inquiry proceedings were initiated and the inquiry has already been completed and the final orders will be passed shortly.

4. Since the final orders are going to be passed shortly, the question of challenging the impugned suspension order, at this stage, will not arise. The only direction that can be issued in this writ petition is to direct the respondents to pass final orders based on the inquiry proceedings, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5. No prejudice will be caused to any of the parties if the respondents are directed to pass final orders in the disciplinary proceedings on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

6. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the first respondent to pass final orders in the disciplinary proceedings initiated by them against the petitioner, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Subject to the outcome of the disciplinary proceedings, if the petitioner is aggrieved against the same, he is at liberty to challenge the same in the manner known to him under law.

7. With the aforesaid directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 07.11.2022 Speaking/Non-speaking Order Index: Yes/No Sni 3/4
