O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner Industrial Training School for the Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, challanging the order passed by the first respondent in Na.Ka.No.Tho.Pa.5/14914/2016 dated 29.07.2016.

2. Earlier, the writ petitioner had filed a Writ Petition in W.P.No.39114 of 2016, for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to conduct inspection and pass orders for the renewal

of recognition of petitioner Industrial Training School for the academic year 2016-17. The said petition was taken up after notice. The respondent had passed the present impugned order dated 29.07.2016. Therefore, this writ petition has been filed by the petitioner, challenging the said impugned order and for a direction to conduct inspection and pass orders for the renewal of recognition of the petitioner Industrial School for the academic year 2016-17.

3. It is a grievance of the petitioner that the respondent even without conducting inspection had rejected the request of the petitioner to renew the recognition.

4. According to the petitioner, the petitioner Industrial Training School has fully complied with the norms prescribed and it is open to the respondent to inspect the same at any time for the purpose of granting recognition as any delay in granting recognition will put the students to jeopardy.

5. The learned Additional Government Pleader also fairly stated that he would instruct the 2nd respondent to conduct inspection before passing any order of recognition.

6. Accordingly, the impugned order passed by the 1st respondent in Na.Ka.No.Tho.Pa.5/14914/2016 dated 29.07.2016 is set aside and the 2nd respondent is directed to inspect the petitioner Industrial Traning School within a period of two weeks from today and submit a report, based on which, the 1st respondent has to pass orders with respect to the renewal of recognition of the petitioner Industrial Training School for the academic year 2016-17, within two weeks thereafter. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
