The petitioner/A4, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 22.08.2023 for the offences punishable under Sections 201, 302, 364 of IPC in Crime No.225 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2.Originally, the First Information Report had been registered under Section 174 Cr.P.C., as man missing case. It had been stated that the defacto complainant and his father doing were doing agriculture work and after that, both of them went over to the market. From the market, the father of the defacto complainant went missing.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner stated that the petitioner herein who is the brother son of the deceased conducted road roko, agitation and sought that the persons should be immediately found out. He was also available for one week. Subsequently, the petitioner had been taken into custody.

4.On the side of the respondent, it is stated that from the CCTV it is seen that 1st and 2nd accused had taken the deceased in a motorcycle. The 1st , 3rd and the present petitioner / A4 are related to the deceased. The 5th accused, the father of the present petitioner had died pending the investigation. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

smv 5.The specific overt act as against the petitioner is that, a sum of Rs.20,000/- had been transferred from his account to the account of the 2nd accused, who is a stranger to the family.
