ORDER

The learned counsel for the petitioner has made the following endorsement in the writ petition:

"Since the respondents 2 and 3 have paid the amount arrived in the Mediation Centre, the petitioner may be permitted to withdraw the present writ petition."

2. In the light of the same, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Liberty is granted to the Income Tax Department to proceed against the assessee in the manner known to law. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
