ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.195 of 2003, dated 20.10.2003 on the file of the respondent police.

2. The petitioner, on an earlier occasion, had filed a petition before this Court in Crl.O.P.No.4177 of 2014 for a direction to the respondent to file a charge sheet before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Alandur in Crime No.195 of 2003, dated 20.10.2003. This Court, by order dated 08.07.2014, directed the learned Judicial Magistrate, Alandur to file a final report within three months.

3. It is submitted by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the learned Judicial Magistrate, Alandur, has passed an order on 08.02.2017, recording that the FIR in Crime No.195 of 2003 came to be closed and further it is stated that the passport also came to be returned to the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. In view of the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, nothing survives for adjudication in this Criminal Original Petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
