ORDER

This contempt petition has been filed to punish the respondents for committing wilful disobedience of the order in W.P.No.4513 of 2021, dated 22.03.2024.

2. An order has been passed by the respondent by way of complying the representation of the petitioner on 16.07.2025. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the order has not been complied in its true letter and spirit.

3. In the writ petition filed by the petitioner in W.P.No.4513/2021, he challenged the order dated 10.12.2020 which calls for outsourcing certain services. However, the above order has not been quashed so far. But in the writ petition, the order has been given with a direction to consider the representation

of the petitioner with respect to his claim for regular time scale of pay alone. However, the petitioner feels that he has grievance against the order dated 16.07.2025 as it is not been passed on the basis of "equal pay for equal work". In the order it has been stated that the petitioner is not entitled to regular time scale of pay and that is applicable for regular sweeper post only and the special time scale of pay cannot be made equivalent to the regular time scale of pay.

4. As the petitioner has got an individual cause of action out of the above order, he is at liberty to challenge the order in the manner known to law. Hence, the further proceedings are dropped in this contempt petition.

5. In view of the above observations, this contempt petition is closed. 07-10-2025 Index:Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order Internet:Yes bkn
