PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the entire records relating to the impugned order passed by the 2nd respondent in his proceedings Na.Ka.No.1129/2018/Uu.A3, dated 09.11.2019 and quash 1/4
the same and consequently directing the respondents 1 and 2 to appoint the petitioner in the post of Panchayat Secretary in any vacant place in Thiruvannamalai District.

ORDER
The learned Standing Counsel for the second respondent, on instructions, submitted that as on the date of notification i.e. 01.07.2018, the petitioner had completed 36 years, 3 months and 29 days, while the upper age limit has been fixed at 30 years. Since the petitioner had applied in the General category, she was disqualified. He would further submit that the third respondent herein was 27 years old when he had applied and was duly qualified and thereby selected to the post of Panchayat Secretary.

2. Since there is no infirmity in the selection of the third respondent and also since the petitioner has not qualified for selection, I do not find any reason to interfere with the impugned order. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
