ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 01.07.2016 and consequently direct the respondents to entered in the concerned records and execute the sale deed with respect to the property bearing Door No.24, Plot No.256, Second Street, Annai Sathya Nagar Part II, Chennai 600 078 in petitioner's name.

The case of the petitioner is that, she is living at Door No.24, Plot No.256, Second Street, Annai Sathya Nagar Part II, Chennai 600 078, which was originally allotted to one Velu by the Slum Clearance Board. Subsequently, the said property was purchased by the brother of the petitioner's husband, who in turn gave the property right to the petitioner's husband by executing a consent deed dated 13.11.2006. Thereafter, the petitioner's husband settled the said property in favour of the petitioner under a settlement deed dated 22.06.2016. However, so far, the sale deed was not executed by the respondents. Hence, the petitioner made a representation dated 01.07.2016 to the respondents, to execute the sale deed in favour of the petitioner. Since no orders has been passed by the respondents, the petitioner approached this Court.
3. None appeared on behalf of the respondents.
4. Though the Writ Petition was filed in the year 2017, it was adjourned from time to time. Even in the last occasion there was no representation for the respondents, therefore, this Court constrained to direct the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 01.07.2016 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and execute the sale deed with respect to the property bearing Door No.24, Plot No.256, Second Street, Annai Sathya Nagar Part II, Chennai 600 078 in petitioner's name, if the papers are in order, within a period of six weeks thereafter.
5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
