ORDER

The petitioners have come forward with this petition under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, seeking a direction to the respondents to provide adequate police protection to petitioners life and limbs and their dignity at No.10/12, Pandayat Colony, Muthamizh Nagar, Saligramam, Chennai - 600 093. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners have submitted a representation to the respondents on 06.04.2016 seeking police protection stating that they got inter-caste marriage at the instance of the petitioners' parents, but, now the first petitioner's sister is making life threat. But the same is yet to be disposed of. Hence, the petitioner has come up with the present petition for the relief as stated above.

3. Heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

4. Considering the averments made in the affidavit and also perusing the typed set of papers, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation given by the petitioners on 06.04.2016 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
