ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for direction directing the respondents to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 30.08.2024 seeking not to lay road on his patta land.
2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.
3. The petitioner owned property comprised in S.No.483/1A3, 483/1E1A, 483/1E2 and 483/2C ad-measuring 17.5 acres situated at Thulukanathamman Koil, 12th Cross Street, Pallikaranai, Chennai - 600 100 and the petitioner was also issued with patta in Patta No.2222. While being so, the respondents proposed to lay road on the patta land owned by the petitioner. Objecting the same, the petitioner submitted a representation and it is pending.
4. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the representation submitted by the petitioner, the first respondent is directed to conduct enquiry and after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner
issue necessary direction to the respondents 2 and 3 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
