This petition has been filed to set aside the returned docket order dated 20.12.2021 in unnumbered Crl.MP.Sr.No.871 of 2021 in SC.No.72 of 2017 on the file of the learned III Additional District and Sessions Judge, Salem.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that the main trial in SC.No.72 of 2017 itself has been completed and the petitioners were convicted by an order dated 02.03.2022. Therefore, nothing survives for consideration in the matter and hence the prayer sought for by the petitioner become infructuous.

3. Recording the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructous.
