ORDER
When the matter is taken up for hearing today, there is no representation for the petitioner. However, the learned counsel for the second respondent submits that a letter addressed by him to the second respondent has been returned unserved with postal endorsement "addressee deceased" and that he does not have the particulars of the legal heirs of the second respondent and he has also filed a Memo to that effect.
2. In the absence of the legal representatives of the said deceased respondent, it would not be possible to further prosecute the writ petition, which has already abated. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as abated. However, it is made clear that it is open to the petitioner to pursue appropriate remedy in accordance with law to reopen the writ petition as soon as the legal representatives of the said deceased respondent are ascertained. No costs. Consequently, connected WPMP is closed.
