By consent of both the learned counsel for the parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal, at the admission stage itself.

The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to accord approval to the appointment of the petitioner Mrs.R.Arputha Sagayarani, working as TGT (Science) in St. Domnic Savio Government Aided High School, No.16, Bhagath Singh Street, Jeevanathapuram, Puducherry - 605 008, w.e.f.01.09.2006, with all service and monetary benefits. 2/6
3. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.

The learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was appointed as a TGT (Science) in the year 2006 and a proposal was sent to approve the appointment of the petitioner by the 5th respondent-School, vide Proposal dated 30.10.2023 and such proposal is pending before the 2nd respondent. It is the contention of the learned Senior Counsel that the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court in judgment in W.A.No.2842 of 2018, dated 30.04.2024, has given an elaborate guideline as to how the approval has to be considered and would rely upon the Paragraph No.55 of the above judgment. It is the further submission of the learned Senior Counsel that the petitioner has also completed his Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET). Hence, the learned Senior Counsel prays that the proposal for approval of the appointment of the petitioner dated 30.10.2023 may be considered in line with the judgment of the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court in W.A.No.2842 of 2018, dated 30.04.2024. 3/6
5. At this juncture, the learned Special Government Pleader (Pondicherry) appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 would submit that they will consider the petitioner's proposal in line with the above judgment of the Division Bench.

In such view of the submission, without going into the merits of the writ petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to consider the 5th respondent's proposal dated 30.10.2023 seeking approval of the appointment of the petitioner and pass orders on it's own merits and in accordance with law and in line with the judgment passed by the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court in W.A.No.2842 of 2018, dated 30.04.2024, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
7. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected writ miscellaneous petition is closed. 08.08.2025 Index : Yes/No Speaking order /Non Speaking Order dm 4/6
