This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to register a case based on the petitioner's complaint dated 10.08.2022.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent. 3.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that on the basis of the allegations stated by the petitioner in his complaint on 10.08.2022, no action has been taken by the respondent police so far. It is alleged in the complaint that the petitioner was cheated by the persons stated therein to the tune of Rs.87,00,000/- and Rs.5,50,000/-. 4.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that the respondent police had conducted a petition enquiry on the same complaint and forwarded it to C.C.B., Tambaram on account of the value of the complaint (i.e.) Rs.92,50,000/-. 2/4

As of now, the investigation is being conducted by the C.C.B., Tambaram. So the petitioner is at liberty to approach the Inspector of Police, C.C.B., Tambaram and submit all the material papers during enquiry. 6.

With these observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
