ORDER

By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The petitioner's grievance is that she has a house in which she allowed her daughter and her husband, along with her her mother-in-law, to stay. At the end of the day, they had driven her out of her own house. 3.Mr.S.Seenuvasan, the learned counsel for the petitioner, submitted that the petitioner has preferred a complaint to the District Collector, the first respondent herein seeking a direction to the first respondent to address her grievance. The complaint has been forwarded by him to the Revenue Divisional Officer, the second respondent for consideration under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007, and the same is pending before the Revenue Divisional Officer. 4.Ms. N.Senthil Selvi, the learned Government Advocate takes notice for the 2/4

respondents 1 and 2.

5.The Revenue Divisional Officer is required to expedite the enquiry and dispose of the matter within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of an online copy or the date on which the order is hosted in the official website, whichever is earlier.

6.The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly with the above direction. No costs.
