ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to call for the records in C.P.No.65 of 2020 on the file of the II Additional Labour Court, Chennai, dated 04.03.2023 and to quash the same.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned counsel for both sides were present.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that this writ petition is challenging the order passed by the II Additional Labour Court, Chennai, in C.P.No.66 of 2020. However, the main Industrial Dispute (ID) itself was already disposed of by this Court in W.P.No.29988 of 2015, dated 18.03.2025. In that order, the award was modified by confirming the termination and awarding compensation of Rs.1 lakh. Therefore, this Computation Petition(CP), arising out of main ID, cannot stand. Therefore, the learned counsel prayed for disposal of this Writ petition.

4. The learned counsel for the respondent also admitted that the writ petition challenging the main award passed in the main ID had been disposed of.

5. In view of the above said submission and recording the same, this writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
