Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., praying to direct the second respondent through the first respondent to register the complaint of the petitioner against the named person dated 11.03.2016.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent-Police to register the complaint dated 11.03.2016, given by the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondents.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that, on a complaint dated 11.03.2016, given by the petitioner, petition enquiry was conducted by the Sub Inspector of Police, K4, Anna Nagar Police Station (Crimes), and the same was closed on the ground that the petitioner is not residing in the said address. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Mr.S.Xaiver Phelix, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that after the incident, the petitioner was admitted in the hospital and undergone treatment.

5. Under such circumstances, the petitioner is directed to go in person and lodge a fresh complaint to the second respondent-Police, together with the wound certificate and on such complaint being given, the same shall be enquired into and action taken in accordance with law.
