This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register a case on the complaint dated 08.03.2016, given by the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondent.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that, since there are complaints and counter complaints between the petitioner and the opposite party, the respondent Police have registered a case in Crime No.83 of 2016, under Section 107 Cr.P.C., and referred the matter to the Revenue Divisional Officer, Maduranthagam, for suitable action.
