This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the 1st respondent Police not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry based on the Police complaint dated 04.04.2022 lodged by the 2nd respondent.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that due to a complaint given by the defacto complainant / 2nd respondent viz.,L.Antony Saviour Kingslin by alleging that the petitioner had cheated him to the tune of Rs.61 lakhs, he is being harassed by the respondent Police. According to the petitioner, he has received the said amount only as investment for the business of the petitioner's trading in Computer Hardware and he had already returned a sum of Rs.41 lakhs and that a money dispute is given with criminal colour.
4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the 2/4
respondent would submit that on the complaint given by the defacto complainant, current paper enquiry is being conducted in C.S.R.No.1728 of 2022.
5. Considering the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) and taking note of the nature of transaction involved between the parties, the respondent Police is directed to complete the enquiry in C.S.R.No.1728 of 2022 and do the needful in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible and inform it to the petitioner within a period of two weeks thereafter.
6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
