Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the petitioner representation dated 12.02.2024 for grant of a Natham Patta in respect of the land comprised in S.No.359/1 situated at Theethipalayam, Kalampalayam, Perur Taluk, Coimbatore District. O R D E R

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to consider her representation dated 12.02.2024 for grant of Natham Patta in respect of the land comprised in S.No.359/1 situated at Theethipalayam, Kalampalayam, Perur Taluk, Coimbatore District and pass orders within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. By consent of both the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as respondents, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that she has been in possession and enjoyment in the above mentioned property by putting up a residential house for several years and she submitted a representation dated 12.02.2024 before the third respondent seeking patta in her name and the same has not been considered till date. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.

4. Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents would submit that the first respondent is the 2/4

competent authority to consider the representation of the petitioner and hence, the third respondent may be directed to forward the representation of the petitioner to the first respondent. He further submits that the first respondent would consider the representation of the petitioner on its own merits and pass appropriate orders within a time to be fixed by this Court.

5. In view of the above submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the third respondent to forward the representation of the petitioner dated 12.02.2024 to the first respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. on receipt of the said representation, the first respondent is directed to consider and pass final orders, after issuing notice to the petitioner and other interested parties, within a period of six weeks, thereafter.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
