The petitioner seeks bail in S.C.No.104 of 2016 in which the trial is ongoing before the learned Sessions Judge, Mahila Court, Cuddalore.
2. It is stated that Non Bailable Warrant was issued against the petitioner on 23.10.2021 and it was executed only on 19.07.2023 just before two years.
3. It is stated that the trial is in progress and one of the accused is also in Judicial Custody.
4.It is also informed that the case now stands posted on 25.10.2023 for examination of L.W.9 and L.W.10.
5.Taking into consideration the fact that the petitioner has absconded for about two years, the trial could never able to progress, at this stage, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. 6.Let the trial progress continue and the learned Sessions Judge may complete the trial progress at the earliest. 12.10.2023 vkr/rjr 1/2 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
