2. We have heard Mrs.R.Anitha, learned Special Government Pleader, for the respondents.

3. Status report is filed by the respondents. It suggests that the alleged encroachment has been removed. Status report mentions that survey was conducted on 05.01.2023 in respect of the grounds detailed therein. Encroachment was found in S.No.147 to an extent of 0.10 hectares. The same was removed on 13.01.2023. In the remaining 0.08.5 hectares, no encroachment was found.

4. It is further stated that private encroachment in S.No.144 classified as 'kulam', with an encroachment of 40 sq.m., is evicted on 18.02.2023.

5. In view of the status report, the contempt petition stands

disposed of.
