ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction directing the first respondent to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 01.07.2024 and enquire the same and take action under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizen Act, 2007.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the first and second respondents and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the third respondent and perused the materials available on record.

3. It is seen that the petitioner lodged a complaint before the second respondent under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizen Act, 2007 and it is pending without any consideration.

4. In view of the above, the second respondent is directed to issue notice to the petitioner and the respondents on the complaint lodged

by the petitioner, after giving an opportunity of hearing, and dispose of the same within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
