ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to complete the investigation and to file a final report with regard to the FIR pending in Cr.No.12 of 2020 dated 18.08.2020 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondent Police.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the respondent Police has registered a case and to file a final report in the abovesaid crime number on 18.08.2020 no final report is filed till date. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that the respondent Police shall file a final report within a period of six months. 5.In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant.

6.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
