By consent of both the learned counsel for the parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal, at the admission stage itself.

The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a Mandamus, directing the respondents to pay the pending amount of difference of Service Gratuity of Rs.56,767/-, difference of Leave Liability of Rs.10,462/- and Surrender Leave Salary of Rs.27,274/- to the Petitioner as communicated as reply under Right to Information Act 2005 along with interest at the rate of 6% per annum payable from the date of death of husband in the light of the Judgment passed by this Court on 18.10.2024 in W.P.No.30627 of 2024 within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.
3. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the 2/6
petitioner is the wife of Late.B.Elangovan, who was the employee under the Respondents-Transport Corporation and he died on 26.10.2021 while he was in service. Hence, the petitioner has sent representations on 11.07.2025 and 14.07.2025 to the respondents 1 and 2 respectively claiming the terminal benefits of her husband. The learned counsel for the petitioner would further submit that the 2nd respondent has also admitted the entitlement of the petitioner's husband through reply given to the RTI query.
5. At this juncture, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that they will consider the petitioner's representations according to it's own merits and in accordance with law, within a reasonable time.

In such view of the submission, without going into the merits of the writ petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representations dated 11.07.2025 and 14.07.2025 and pass orders on it's own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. In any event the respondents arrived at the conclusion that the petitioner is eligible for any 3/6
amount, they are directed to pay the same along with interest at the rate of 6% per annum from the date of death of her husband till the date of actual disbursal.
