The case of cheating to the tune of Rs.11,75,406/- was registered against these petitioners in Crime No.97 of 2025.
2. This Court granted anticipatory bail to the petitioners in Crl.OP.No.17631 of 2025 dated 17.07.2025, on condition to deposit a sum of Rs.2,00,000/- (Rupees Two Lakhs only) each to the credit of Crime No.97 of 2025. The petitioners have not complied with the condition. Hence, the present petitions have been filed for modification of the condition and to extend the time to furnish sureties.
3. The defacto complainant intervenes and states that the petitioners, having cheated to the tune of Rs.11,75,406/- were granted anticipatory bail on conditions that they should deposit a sum of Rs.2,00,000/- each in the crime account. The said order was passed on 17.07.2025. Till date, the 2/4
petitioners have neither returned the money nor deposited the amount as directed by this Court.
4. Considering the fact that the reason for non-compliance of the condition was not properly explained, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petitions for modification and extension of time stands dismissed.
