O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking protection from the police alleging that they are harassing the petitioner and her daughter. 2.

The petitioner herein is the mother-in-law of one Dilip Raju. On a complaint given by one Sona @ Hyacinth for maintenance against Dilip Raju, Non Bailable Warrant is issued, whereas, the police is unable to execute the warrant against Dilip Raju. The petitioner herein, mother-in-law of the said Dilip Raju alleging that to trace the absconding accused, police is putting pressure on her and her daughter by knocking the door in the midnight. Representation of the petitioner's daughter by post to the Commissioner of Police on 11.09.2023 had not acted upon. 3.

From the perusal of the record, this Court finds that to execute the warrant issued against Dilipraju, the police put pressure on the family members. They should follow the procedure contemplated under the Code. Hence this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent police, if the presence of the petitioner's daughter is required,
