This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent (Commissioner of Police, Chennai) and/or the 2nd respondent (Inspector of Police, D-3, Ice House Police Station) to forthwith execute the Non-Bailable Warrant dated 27.11.2024 issued by the Fast Track Court-I, Metropolitan Magistrate, Allikulam, Chennai, to secure the accused and produce her before the Fast Track Court-I, Metropolitan Magistrate, Allikulam, Chennai, in S.T.C.No.8030 of 2024. 2.Learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that the warrant has been executed and the accused has been produced before the Fast Track Court-I, Metropolitan Magistrate, Allikulam, Chennai, today.
3.In such view of the matter, nothing survives in this petition. However, since it is stated that the husband of the accused is a staff of the Court, the trial Court is directed to dispose of the main case in S.T.C.No.8030 of 2024 on its own merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible.
