ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.30 of 2022, pending on the file of the first respondent.

2. Heard the learned counsel for petitioner, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for first respondent and the learned counsel appearing for second respondent.

3. It was brought to the notice of this Court that the petitioner had filed an Anticipatory Bail petition in Crl.O.P.No.23526 of 2022 and at that stage, the parties were referred to Mediation. Even during the pendency of the Anticipatory Bail petition, the mediation report was filed based on the settlement agreement reached between the parties. The same was recorded while allowing the Anticipatory Bail petition filed in Crl.O.P.No.23526 of 2022 by an order dated 03.08.2023.

4. In the light of the above development, no useful purpose would be served in continuing with the investigation in this case, since the parties have already compromised in this case.

5. Accordingly, the F.I.R. in Crime No.30 of 2022 pending on the file of first respondent is quashed and the Criminal Original Petition stands allowed.
