Prayer: This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, with a prayer to issue a writ of declaration, declaring that the entire land acquisition proceedings for the lands comprised in S.F.Nos.66 and 66/1, Ganapathy Village, Coimbatore District under Section 4 (1) Notification dated 18/08/1983 in G.O.Ms.No.1274, Housing and Urban Development and Section 6 Declaration published in G.O.Ms.No.906 dated 05/09/1985 and in Award No.2 of 1987 dated 06/04/1987 had lapsed as per Section 24 (2) of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition and Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013, Act 30 of 2013, and render justice.

This Writ Petition is pending from the year 2017. Already several times and several opportunities have been given to the petitioners. Which shows that the Petitioners are not interested to prosecute this writ petition as the writ petition is pending for the years together.

2. When this writ petition came up for hearing lastly on 06.11.2023, the learned Counsel for the Petitioners seek time for change of vakalat in order to change, this Court granted time and now even after 20 days passed away and today also they are seeking for adjournment which shows the lack of interest to prosecute this writ petition any more by the petitioners and under these circumstances this Court is not inclined to grant adjournment.
