Respondent Prayer:- Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. to modify the condition imposed on him by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Kancheepuram District at Chengalpattu made in Crl.M.P.No.619 of 2016 by order dated 16.03.2016 to the effect that the petitioner shall report before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Alandur daily instead of reporting before the respondent police daily at 10.00 a.m. until further orders as ordered by the lower Court.

O R D E R

This petition is filed to modify the condition imposed on the petitioner in Crl.M.P.No.619 of 2016, dated 16.03.2016 by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Kancheepuram District at Chengalpattu.

2.Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that while the petitioner was enlarging on bail, he was directed to report before the respondent police daily at 10.00 a.m. until further orders. He further submits that whenever the petitioner appears https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

before the respondent police, he met out harassment at the hands of the respondent police. Hence, he prays that the petitioner may be directed to appear before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Alandur.

3.Heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor. 4.Considering the submissions made on both sides, this Court is inclined to modify the condition imposed in the order dated 16.03.2016 made in Crl.M.P.No.619 of 2016 by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Kancheepuram District at Chengalpet. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is ordered. The condition imposed on the petitioner is modified to the effect that instead of appearing before the respondent police daily at 10.00 a.m. until further orders, the petitioner shall report before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Alandur daily at 10.30 a.m. until further orders.
