The petitioner Bharathi Govt. Aided Primary School, filed the present writ petition for a direction to appoint one Tmt.R.Malar to the post of Cook Assistant in the Noon Meal Center, in the petitioner school, based on the proceeding of the third respondent dated 19.04.2017.

2. The learned Additional Advocate General, appearing on behalf of the respondents, brought to the notice of this Court that the selection process which is the subject matter of the present writ petition was cancelled by the District Collector on 09.07.2018. Initially, notification was issued inviting application from the eligible candidates for selection to 55 posts of Noon Meal Organisers and 70 posts of Cook Assistants. 2/4

On account of administrative reasons, the process of selection was cancelled. Now, the petitioner school says that two persons are working in the school and they are maintaining the Centre.

3. This being the factum, the respondents are directed to initiate all steps to recruit the candidates for regular appointment by following the procedures as contemplated and by providing equal opportunities to all the candidates who all are aspiring to secure employment through open competitive process.

4. Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
