ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking to withdraw the investigation in CCB Cr. No.344/2015 dated 11.09.2015 on the file of the first respondent and transfer the case files to Central Bureau of Investigation for proper and fair investigation.
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Mr. M. Vijayaraman, Assistant Commissioner, CCB-EDFII, the second respondent herein, is present before this Court today.
On instructions, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the accused has been arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 02.06.2016 and the police are also taking steps to take him into their custody. In view of the fact that the police have acted with alacrity, this Court is of the view that this is not a fit case to transfer the investigation to any other agency and suffice if the Investigating Officer is directed to proceed with the case in accordance with law and take action against the person involved in the offence.
This Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of with the above observation and direction.
