This Petition has been filed under Section 372 of the Succession Certificate, 1925 seeking Succession Certificate relating to the debts belonging Saharbhan, who was the wife of the first petitioner and mother of the second to sixth petitioners. The second to sixth petitioners had given the consent affidavits for grant of succession certificate to the first petitioner.

2. In the Petition, it had been stated that Saharbhan had died on 26.04.2021. She had left behind deposits in Punjab National Bank, Rattan Bazaar, Chennai. Necessary paper publication was effected. The first petitioner was examined as PW-1. The death certificate of his wife S.Saharbhan was marked as Ex.P-1, the legal heirship certificate was marked as Ex.P-2, the letter given by Punjab National Bank was marked as Ex.P-3. The consent affidavits of the third, fourth, fifth and sixth petitioners are available in the Court records but they had not been marked as documents, but the Court can still take judicial notice of them. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

In view of the above facts, this Petition stands allowed as prayed for and a direction for grant of Succession Certificate to the first petitioner with power to collect the debts and to receive interest specified in the schedule is issued. The first petitioner is directed to render accounts once in a year.
