Sangam is a relief that can never be granted by a Constitutional Court exercising its jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. The petitioner seems to be under the impression that retired High Court Judges have all the free time to conduct elections for various sangams. This Court is not happy with the manner in which the petitioner has sought for such a relief, as if the retired High Court Judges have no purposeful duties to perform after their retirement. The relief sought for in the writ petition is misconceived and this Court finds no merits in the present writ petition.

4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. 08-08-2025 Index:Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order Internet:Yes Jeni Page No.3 of 5
