The petitioner herein is the sister of the accused. The accused is involved in multiple cases and absconding. Since the Non Bailable Warrant is pending against him, the police has gone to the house of the petitioner to enquire about the absconding accused. Alleging that the police is frequently visited her house under the guise of enquiry about whereabouts the said accused Parthasarathy and causing harassment. 2.

The averment in the petition clearly show that the police has gone to the house of the petitioner in order to find out whereabouts of the absconding accused.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police states that Parthasarathy, who is the brother of the petitioner, is involved in a murder case which is pending in S.C.No.148 of 2023 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Cuddalore. He is absconding and therefore for execution of warrant issued by the Court, police is visiting the residence of the accused. The petitioner who is the sister of the accused instead of disclosing the whereabouts of the absconding accused, has filed this petition as if she is harassed by the police.

This Court, on considering the facts of the case, finds that the allegations made by the petitioner that the police is harassing her is ill found.
