The petitioner herein being the sister of one Parthasarathy is before this Court seeking protection from police harassment. 2.

According to the petitioner, the 2nd and 3rd respondents are frequently disturbing her in search of Parthasarathy, who has left home 3 years ago and whereabouts not known to her.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Pondy) appearing for the respondent police submits that there are four cases pending against Parathasarathy in Mangalam Police station/the 3rd respondent herein and one case in Bahour Police Station/2nd respondent herein. Both the cases on completion of investigation final reports filed and trial is pending. The 2nd and 3rd respondents had never visited the house of the petitioner in search of the accused Parthasarathy. He further states that recently the said Parthasarathy has involved in a crime within the jurisdiction of Rettichavadi police station, Tamil Nadu. 4.

This Court, recording the said submissions made by the learned counsel as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor 2/4
