No.8896 of 2016 is filed seeking a direction to the third respondent herein to secure the accused in Crime No.19 of 2015 dated 07.01.2015, Crl.O.P. No.8897 of 2016 is filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to file a charge sheet in Crime No.19 of 2015 in a time bound manner. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, Mrs. J. Vichitra Mary, Sub Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Nagapattinam District, is present before this Court. On instructions, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent State submits that the investigation in Crime No.19 of 2015 has been completed and the final report has been filed before the Judicial Maigstrate No.I, Nagapattinam on 25.01.2016 and the same has not yet been taken on file.
Mrs. J. Vichitra Mary, Sub Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Nagapattinam District, who is present before this Court, has also filed an affidavit to that effect. Recording the same, both the Criminal Original Petitions are closed.
