This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash C.C.No.49 of 2017, pending on the file of the Metropolitan Magistrate, Additional Mahila Court, Egmore, Chennai.
2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, through Video Conferencing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the matter has been settled amicably. A Settlement Agreement was entered into between the parties on 7/1/2022 and the same was also filed before this Court. Defacto complainant was also present through Video Conferencing.
3. As the parties have no further claims or demands against each other and the same was reduced into writing before the Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation Centre, High Court, Madras, C.C.No.49 of 2017, pending on the file of the learned Metropolitan Magistrate Additional Mahila Court, Egmore, is quashed.
4. In the result, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed. Consequently, the connected Criminal Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
