Respondents Prayer:- Habeas Corpus Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a Writ of Habeas Corpus to call for the records of the 2 nd respondent pertaining to the order made in Memo No. 426/BCDFGISSSV/2025 dated 30.06.2025 in detaining the detenue under the Tamilnadu Act 14/1982 as a brand of Goonda and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenue, namely Praveenkumar @ Kushmi, Son of Suresh, aged 23 years, who is detained at the Central Prison Puzhal, Chennai, before this Court and set him at liberty. (Order of the Court was made by N.SATHISH KUMAR, J.) Mr.S.Karthick, learned counsel on record for petitioner and Mr.A.Gokulakrishnan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents are before us.

2. Learned counsel on both sides submit that the impugned preventive detention order has since been revoked (Advisory Board) vide proceedings dated 19.08.2025 bearing reference G.O.Rt.No.5183, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIII) Department and also produced a copy of the same.

3. In the light of the above submission, nothing survives in the above habeas corpus petition.

4. Accordingly, recording the above said submission, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
