ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The present writ petition has been instituted to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 06.09.2024, to extend the ordinary leave granted to the husband of the writ petitioner, Mr.Srinivasan/convict prisoner.

2.We have already granted 21 days of ordinary leave by an order dated 16.08.2024 by imposing a condition that the convict prisoner should surrender before the Superintendent of Prison, Central Prison, Puzhal - I, Chennai, on 11.09.2024 at 05.30 p.m. That being the condition imposed, the convict prisoner has to surrender before the prison and thereafter, the petitioner is at liberty to file an application, which is to be considered based on the eligibility criteria and by following the procedures as contemplated. 3.Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of.
