Mr.C.Kasirajan, learned counsel takes notice for the respondent.

2. This Writ Petition has been filed by Mr.A.Narayanan, who was posted as Salesman in Shop No.11625 and subsequently, he was allotted with additional Charge of Shop No.11532. On 13.4.2015, the respondent/the District Manager, Tamil Nadu State Marketing Corporation Ltd., Villupuram, has placed him under suspension vide proceedings in Na.Ka.No.RV3/1054(625)/2015, dated 13.4.2015. His grievance is that from the date of suspension i.e.13.4.2015 till date, he has not been paid subsistence allowance. He has sent a detailed representation dated 5.1.2016. Inspite of a detailed representation and repeated requests for payment of subsistence allowance, the respondent has not come forward to consider the plight of the petitioner for payment of subsistence allowance, which is a basic legal right to eke out his livelihood.

Considering the above submission, without going into the merits of the matter, the respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 5.1.2016 and pay subsistence allowance in accordance with law, if not already paid to the petitioner, within a period of 10 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
