Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to take action on the petitioner's representation dated 20.09.2016 which was submitted to remove the encroachment from the lands belonging to Sri Ramasamy Perumal Koil and Sri Elayaperumal Koil, both at Kongavembu, Harur Tk., Dharmapuri Dt., comprised in S.Nos.25/4, 53/2, 29/1G2 & 29/1H2 measuring to an extent 4.94 and 0.3.00 hectares respectively, situated at Kongavembu Village, Harur Taluk, Dharmapuri Dt.

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) Learned counsel for the HR & CE Department has pointed out that the petitioner is a person who was in the management of the temple and was removed from the management and an Administrator has been appointed and there have been two litigations in the past in W.P.No.10570 of 2015 and thereafter in W.P.No.15858 of 2016, the latter being as a sequitur to the petitioner having locked the temple and gone away.

2.After some arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks to withdraw the petition. Endorsement is made. 3.Writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs.
