This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a mandamus, directing the respondents herein to appoint him on compassionate grounds as Junior Assistant. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents. 3.The grievance of the petitioner is that he has not been given appointment on compassionate ground, on the demise of his father G.Mani who died on 31.07.2005. In regard to the same, he made an application dated 29.12.2005 to the third respondent and his mother made a representation to the Chief Minister (Special Cell) dated 20.02.2012. forthcoming, he has come forward with the present writ petition.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that letter has been sent to the petitioner by the third respondent stating that petitioner's name has been included in the list of compassionate appointment and whenever, he attains seniority in the compassionate ground list, he would be given appointment.

5.On perusal of the reply letter of the third respondent dated 24.07.2015, it appears that the name of the petitioner was included in the compassionate appointment list and they have not received any order from the second respondent/Director of Medical Education and as soon as they receive orders from the second respondent, he will be informed about the same. The letter of the third respondent dated 24.07.2015 is recorded.

6.Considering the nature of the sufferings of the petitioner, this Court is of the view that the respondents shall consider the case of the petitioner and give appointment to the petitioner on compassionate ground as expeditiously as possible.

7.With the above observation and direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
