The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 13.08.2023 for the offences punishable under Sections 4(1)(aa) r/w 4(1-A)(ii) of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act in Crime No.552 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner was found in possession of 65 litres of country arrack.

3.Taking into consideration that the petitioner had been arrested only on 13.08.2023, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
