This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the first respondent to give police protection to the petitioner on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 09.08.2019.

Heard Mr.A.Yogaraj, learned counsel representing Mr.R.Marudhachalamurthy, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.S.Karthikeyan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent and Mr.Camyles Gandhi, learned counsel representing Mr.P.Saravana Sowmiyan, learned counsel appearing for the second respondent.

respondent on instructions would submit that in earlier occasion, in respect of complaint dated 09.08.2019, the first respondent herein conducted an enquiry in CSR.No.165 of 2019. Similarly, upon the complaint given by the second respondent, the first respondent herein conducted enquiry initiated in CSR.No.164 of 2019 and after due enquiry, both the enquiries were closed on 28.08.2019 and as of now, no enquiry is pending on the file of the first respondent in respect of these parties.

4. In view of the above, in the absence of any representation given by the petitioner, this Court cannot be granted positive relief as prayed for by the petitioner.

5. With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
