ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus 1/3

to consider and direct the respondents to acquire property of the petitioner with R.S.Nos.62/1, 62/2, 62/6, 62/8 and 62/9 situated in Olaivakkal Revenue Village, Koodapakkam, Puducherry only after following the procedure provided under law and also after paying the benefits provided under law.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is the owner of the property situated in R.S.Nos.62/1, 62/2, 62/6, 62/8 and 62/9 at Olaivakkal Revenue Village, Koodapakkam, Puducherry and the respondent officials are trying to acquire his lands without following due process of law. Hence, seeks this Court for issuance of appropriate directions.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that if the petitioner possesses the title over subject property, his possession will not be disturbed without following due process of law.

4. Recording the submissions of the learned Additional Government Pleader, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
