This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.03.2017 by strictly adhering to Rule 5 of Tamil Nadu Municipal Councils (Reservation of Schedule Caste and the Schedule Tribes and Co-option of the Women in the Councils) Rules, 1991 and Rule 7 of the Tamil Nadu Panchayats (Reservation of Seats and Rotation of Reserved Seats) Rules, 1995.

There is no representation for the petitioner. Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 & 5 submitted that the petitioner's 2/4
representation has already been considered and informed the petitioner that the resolution has been passed as per Government Order and the Rules. According to him, nothing survives in this Writ Petition, as the representation of the petitioner has already been considered.
